Warehouse Yard Person
If you’re an ambitious warehouse yard man looking to take the next step in your career, we have a great opportunity for you to excel. We are looking for someone practical, organised, and accurate who can work in a busy tool hire & construction supplies warehouse. You will be helping to load & unload vehicles along with other duties. Forklift experience would be an advantage.
No two days will be the same and you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Working in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment, you'll be responsible for picking and preparing customer orders, loading & unloading vehicles, and keeping our systems up to date. You'll ensure stock is organised, deliveries go out on time, and the warehouse remains a safe and tidy space for the team.

Your Responsibilities
- Picking customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles
- Using a forklift vehicle
- Updating our warehouse software and stock records
- Keeping the warehouse organised, clean, and compliant with safety standards
- Supporting stock checks and inventory control
- Collaborating with the tool hire and site supplies teams

What you
will bring
- A great attitude and a willingness to get the job done
- Able to ensure vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely
- Forklift experience preferable
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a positive approach
- Confidence using computers and warehouse systems like a PDA
- A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
- The ability to work independently, using initiative when needed
- Reliability, honesty, and a sense of responsibility
